Dear WPFG Competitors and Family,
Due tot eh unprecedented and unpredictable spread of the coronavirus outbreak, the WPFG Federation has called a meeting to convene mid to late June with our partners, the Host Cities (Rotterdam, Winnipeg and Birmingham) to discuss postponement of the 2021 Games in Rotterdam. If the Federation’s discussion results in a change to the Birmingham or Winnipeg Games we will inform you accordingly.
It is anticipated that a decision regarding Rotterdam will be rendered and placed on our website, along with Rotterdam’s website no later than July 1, 2020. The health and safety of our athletes and everyone involved in our “Games” is paramount. We thank you for participation and support with this great event.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU
The 2020 United States Police & Fire Championships would have officially started this week. Since you won’t be joining us in San Diego this year, we would like to take this time to get to know our athletes. Below are a few simple questions we would like you to answer for us. Return those answers and a picture and we will pick a different athlete each week to highlight on our Social Media Platforms.
- What department are you with and how many years of service?
- How long have you been competing in the United States Police & Fire Championships?
- What do you enjoy most about competing?
- What would you tell other athletes who are considering entering the Games?
Please send all responses and pictures to STEVEN BLOCKER at sblocker@cpaf.org
